Delicious food, great cocktails and damn nice service

Super nice service with delicious cocktails🍸 attention was paid to hygiene.

My girlfriend and I went to El Sombrero for a cocktail a few minutes ago. The waitress was rude and by no means welcoming. I understand that you are annoyed about the current Corona situation and expect customers to always think about the rules. I admit that we overlooked the table with the slips of paper to hand in the name and address, but here too we can expect to be kindly pointed out to us again. In the end, the staff didn't even keep the distance when checking out and my friend had to hear in an angry voice that she was obliged to have cash with her ... allegedly the reader wouldn't work. In times of Corona, in particular, people are increasingly doing without cash. In the end, the device worked, quite unexpectedly. A hint that the reader is not working would otherwise have been helpful at the beginning. We would have simply wished for friendlier behavior.

Tasty and prices are ok

Contrary to some negative reviews, I cannot fault the service or the cocktails. Okay, you don't sit there that comfortably, but it doesn't matter. We still had a nice evening there.

The restaurant is actually very tastefully decorated. No cheap decoration, instead the colors were very much very nicely coordinated. Here you get both: sympathetic and brisk waiters. I can highly recommend this place! I usually didn't want to share the dessert with my mother at all. We have now learned from it and will order one dessert per person next time.

We liked the place so much! The food was excellent and the service super friendly. Everything perfect - from the reservation to the fulfillment of wishes to the location. We would love to eat here again at any time!

I am here every Tuesday evening with the group after the sneak preview from the cinema. Cocktails are great and you can definitely treat yourself to one or the other snack. 👍 Oh and the staff is of course great too😁💪

We ordered 3 Mexican dishes from El Sombrero Cap via a delivery service for around € 40. The positive first: the delivery went great within the time and the guacamole dip looked fresh and delicious. The rest, however, was a disaster. The beef burritos / tacos were actually full of beef (hack), occasionally you could also see pieces of bell pepper or onion. The vegetarian dishes were filled with the finest frozen vegetables and the side salad also looked like packaged discount salad. As a side dish there were nachos on top, whereby a handful must be enough for 2 wholesome dishes. In addition, the food was packed so professionally that the burrito remained as a splash at the bottom.

Cocktail was rather mediocre. In addition, it was said that you had to tell if you wanted to take advantage of the cocktail special, although none of it was on the advertising sign.

Delicious enchiladas, delicious cocktails and nice waitresses. Everything you could want. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat something Mexican.

I've been there several times and drank cocktails, even on my 21st birthday. Of course, there I was asked for my ID. Also often. And now I didn't have my ID with me, so I couldn't drink there. Then I wonder why we were allowed to sit down at the table and choose what? And after we ordered we were asked for the ID? I can't stop there.

Rarely served so poorly. The cocktails were not tasty (extremely sour) and the waitress turned thumbs behind the counter, while we waited 20-30 minutes after each cocktail to be served at all. And there wasn't even much going on. In general, the staff was pretty rude.

Super tasty, plentiful, friendly, attentive and competent service. The cafeteria style of the restaurant is so deceptive. Corresponds to my experiences in the States. The Americans eat so. The selection of desserts is also highly recommended.
